MEET THE FOUNDERS
Ka Yan Ho - Co-Founder
Ka Yan is a high school junior from Texas. She decided to create Society of Gen Z when she realized that not all youth were aware of the current events happening around them. She hopes that Gen Z can use this platform to raise more awareness on global issues and to stay informed.
Stephanie Chen - Co-Founder
As one of the co-founders of @societyofgenz, she has taken an interest in learning about the opinions of others and the issues existing in our society. It has always been her belief that everyone deserves to have their own opinions, and through the platform Society of Gen Z, she aims to advocate the voice of our generation as much as possible.
MEET THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Kailey Wong - Director of Web Development
Kailey is an ambitious student from California and an avid volunteer with many organization like Society of Gen Z. She strives to make the world a better place through her work. She enjoys playing piano and violin and during her free time, she can be found reading, programming, or watching sci-fi shows.
Tiffany Fang - Director of Graphic Design
Tiffany lives in Virginia as a Junior in high school. She loves to read, bike, listen to podcasts, spend time with her family, and run her very own club that she started at her school. She also loves fashion and is weirdly obsessed with plants.
Deniel Floria - Director of Writing
Deniel is an Economics major, whose interest revolves around International Relations. He loves to read and play with his dogs during free time. Alongside, he wields his pen for justice's cause.
Maahi Shah - Director of Social Media & Outreach
Maahi loves to read any type of book and play guitar in her free time. She also enjoys science, graphic design, and writing :)
Theingi - Director of Editing
Serving as our director of editing, her name is Theingi and she is currently a junior from Myanmar. Apart from Society of Genz, she is also involved in the other organizations and is passionate on educating people about world issues.

Arohi Mehta - Blog Writer
Arohi, a blog writer at SOGZ, is a 10th grader from India and shares a passion for writing and sketching. She uses the magic of words to express her views on political and societal issues.
Sana Basheer - Blog Writer
Sana is one of the new blog writers at Society of Gen Z. She is a passionate and dedicated writer, and she hopes that her writing will inspire others to get involved with the world around them and create their own pathways toward awareness and success.
Ambika Bose - Blog Writer
Ambika Bose is a 15-year-old student studying at The Heritage School. She loves debating, reading, cinema, and art. She also likes being vocal by writing about political and social issues and has given her art a platform on Instagram. She aspires to be a criminal lawyer in the future.
Lara Tiu - Graphic Designer
Growing up, Lara was always passionate about media. Apart from graphic design, she loves to video edit, watch K-dramas, and listen to music.

Alexa is currently a Highschool student in Indonesia with a passion for learning and global advocacy. She's a huge movie buff and is very interested in science and literature.

Rebecca is a rising senior from Summit, New Jersey. When she’s not designing or video editing, she’s watching movies, petting her cats or trying new foods!

Rishika is a sophomore in high school who loves to volunteer and help others. She is passionate about neuroscience, biology, and psychology. She’s hard working, passionate, organized, and a great team leader.

A creative 10 grader from India. She is a dancer, singer, and social worker. She loves to volunteer and does a bit of everything! Apart from that, she loves gaming, music and socialising

Githa Dearni is a twenty year old student at University of Indonesia, and currently studying Accounting and Taxation. She currently resides in South Jakarta. When she isn't glued to her laptop or her phone screen, she loves to spend her time by baking and writing her makeup and any beauty related things in her journal.
Tanisha
Tanisha is 17 years old, a hip-hop dancer, and a junior in high school. She has been dancing ever since she was 7 years old, is interested in learning about the sciences and social issues surrounding the communities she is involved in as well as others.

Meifa Afarine is 14 years old and is from Indonesia. Meifa loves singing and playing games!

Charlton Sinclair
Charlton Sinclair is a heavily involved individual within his community, in which he loves to assist youth-centered organizations in growing and expanding so that youth everywhere are able to become familiar with the many services available for them. He mainly enjoys learning, growing and sharing his knowledge with others to witness the prosperous growth and development of everyone. In his free time, Charlton is usually found to be talking with his friends or just regularly scrolling through social media!
